Why HIV self-testing is important for the people in risk-groups

A large part of society still believes that only the LGBT community and intravenous drug users can have such diseases. That is why it is a challenge for people in the risk groups to decide on HIV testing, which, in turn, increases the number of infected people who are not aware of their own HIV-positive status.

How the income of farmers from Mountainous Georgia increases

Caritas Czech Republic has been working on capacity-building and the improvement of the socio-economic conditions of farmers in Georgia for many years. In 2022, our organization implements a project that aims at increasing the income of beef farmers from Mountainous Georgia by ensuring efficient production resources and inputs, the necessary knowledge, market access, and value-added opportunities. Within the framework of the project, we have already retrained farmers and veterinarians and identified demonstration plots for introducing the practice of rotational grazing. Further, we are planning to distribute grants for purchasing necessary equipment for cattle farming.
