We help where we are needed. We provide immediate humanitarian aid to people affected by war or natural disaster. As part of our development cooperation, we help people to cut loose and make a living. We focus on the development of health care and social protection as well as  rural development and environmental protection and actively work on systemic changes in Georgia.

Caritas Czech Republic launches DG ECHO-funded project to help refugees in Moldova

Moldova, the poorest country in Europe, has received the largest number of refugees per capita since the start of the war in Ukraine. Although the country welcomed refugees with open arms, it soon reached the limits of its capacity. Caritas Czech Republic launched a project in Moldova to help vulnerable refugees. In total, we will support over 200,000 refugees, relieving the overburdened Moldovan state.

Caritas Czech Republic Supports Sustainable Waste Management Practices in Georgia

Environmental pollution remains one of the major challenges of the modern world. Proper waste management and recycling practices are important not only to avoid negative effects on the environment and save natural resources but also to play an important role in ensuring the health of the population. Caritas Czech Republic has been working in the environmental sector since 2019 and most of its projects aim to develop responsible waste management practices in the regions of Georgia.
